Bavarian bIErhaus

Size: 18,000 sf
Location: Glendale WI
The project renovates an existing building with abundant charm and character but has seen years of neglect. The project brushes off the dust of the unique elements of the building while complimenting these German themed details with a contemporary design.  The overall effect is a present day interpretation of an authentic German beer hall experience.

The main beer hall, with seating for 350 people, is the focus of the project.  With its vaulted ceiling and open feel, it is designed to be a socializing space place to hang out with friends and meet new people.  The brewery will brew 200,000 liters of beer a year, and is placed in the main hall so that visitors can see the process while they enjoy their craft beers.

The building includes a restaurant  area that seats 130 and a craft beer bar that caters to the beer aficionado looking to learn more about beer and taste different craft brews.  A exterior beer garden, located on the south of the building, gives customers a place to relax outdoors while enjoying their beer.
