MUHS Gymnasium Renovation

Marquette University High School is a college prep school in Milwaukee that has great pride in their athletic successes on the playing field and court.  Their gymnasium however, had shown the wear and tear that comes with not having been renovated in the last 40 years.  In 2016, the school looked to renovate the space in a manner that showcases their athletic achievements and resulted in a beautiful and efficient upgrade to this work-horse space of the athletic program.

The project renovates the existing 16,000 sf gymnasium and Athletic Director’s office suite.   The renovation consists of providing a new energy efficient lighting system and controls, new ceiling system that provides an acoustical benefit, new floor and wall finishes, as well as provides necessary upgrades to the existing accessibility conditions.  In total, the project will convert the old gym into a modern and dynamic athletic hall that will serve the school for decades to come.
