Indulgence chocolatiers

Location
Indulgence Chocolatiers is a maker of artisan chocolates that are edible works of art. Our design for their new store at The Corners of Brookfield is inspired by their obsession with the craft of making these fine chocolates. Located in the new shopping and entertainment development in Brookfield Wisconsin, the store is a showcase for their products to capture the attention of the visitors to the development. The renovation of the space includes a retail area, a wine bar and back of house spaces.

DBA created a layout for the store that makes the chocolates the centerpiece of the design, creating displays that showcase their unique products. The rift cut white oak for the display shelves are contrasted from a background of ceramic tile and painted brick. The shelving behind the wine bar in particular, highlights the use of the white oak in the space. Creating a unique form, the shelf conveys the sense of mailability that is an inherent property of chocolate.
